You only wan't to spend a day or two there. Florence is cool, especially if you are an art lover, you must go to the Uffizi museum. Of everywhere we went, Rome was my favorite. It is a huge metroplitan city, but doesn't feel huge and intimidating because the bulidings are not tall. There is so much to do there, you could spend days.

Asissi is gorgeous as well.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16349765563150981854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19071528.post-1138714768256385962006-01-31T08:39:00.000-05:002006-01-31T08:39:00.000-05:00I appreciate the concern, A, but I'm not horribly ...I appreciate the concern, A, but I'm not horribly sad to miss out on WM. It's smaller and less expensive, less fast paced. Great if you just want to kick back. We went there to relax after much travelling around Europe. Right by the water and we ate gelato everyday on the way to the beach.

Few things to remember, Mondays - everything is pretty much closed down there and other parts of europe. Also, lots of shopping and sites are closed from about 12-3pm for lunch. (not so much the metropolitan places). And, we found that there aren't as many people who speak english there as France or Germany. Especially if you go further south. So make sure you get some important phrases down! Happy planning!Carbonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09604856702298531249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19071528.post-1138647271112355692006-01-30T13:54:00.000-05:002006-01-30T13:54:00.000-05:00Sweet. YOu can hike between the five little towns and drink wine, swim in the ocean and just relax. It is amazing!

You should also see Venice for sure, Rome and Florence. Florence is beautiful. You must see the Vatican. Hope you have fun on your trip. I can't wait to see your pics.

Here is my blog about my trip. You might find a few things in Italy I didn't mention.
http://divalvjen.blogspot.com/2005/12/life-is-way-too-short-not-to-travel.html#linksJenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16561588650430660280noreply@blogger.com
