Mr. Met

I watched a baseball game tonight. The crucial game of the year.

It has been a very long time since the NY Mets had any sort of winning season.

And they almost made it to the World Series. It's been decades since that happened.

I'm surprised there weren't more tears in the basement. Maybe next year, Mr. Met. Maybe next year.

Yeah I was pulling for the Mets as well. It went down to the last out. Bases loaded, 2 outs, and the mighty Beltran at bat. What a finish. Unfortunately not one the Mets had hoped for.

On the bright side they had a great season and will no doubt be even better next year.

Is it just me or is Mr. Met kind of creepy? You don't know what he's thinking under that bobbly-baseball head!

I won't disagree with you there, Heather Anne. I think it's all about proportions.

I have no idea about most sports and baseball is one of them.

I'm sorry for your loss ? :)

What's funny is that this is the very first and only game I've watched all year!!
