Here She Is!

Baby's first picture. She posed perfectly. Now it's time to start really thinking about names and registering for fun pink things and picking out fabrics and patterns and all that good stuff!!

Crazy... what is it with all the Ada Bible Babies (TM) being girls, these days? This is a conspiracy I tell you! A conspiracy of Manionesque proportions!

Also, congrats.

Woot!
Happy for you...
Bring on the PINK, baby!

Nate, I wouldn't be surprised...Chris secretly whispers something into the speakers I bet. But it was funny, yesterday someone said they expected me to have a girl because everyone THEY knew was having boys! Weird. Your brother gets the prize though. He was the first one to call it correctly.

Mrs. E, I know!! I do love pink...

Better hurry, you only have 5 months to get all this picking, making, and decorating done--it'll be here before you know it! G-I-R-L-S, YESSSSSS, GO GIRLS!

Wait a minute, Anne. I believe I was the first to predict a girly--and even before you (knew you)/ were pregnant. Remember, my super preggo-sensing and predicting powers? The ultrasound was just pink icing on the cake. Ask Jean, I knew Alina was a girl too--I told her on the front steps of our house in Alger Heights...looong time ago! And I knew Lynds was preggo at Becky's shower, but that wasn't "out" yet either--at least I hadn't heard it "on the street". The only person I never know is pregnant is myself...go figure! Pink stuff shall be saved and sent your way from the Scott girlies...

That's true, Cheeks, you did call the girl-ness...(don't tell B, we'll let him think he wins) though I will debate your first-dibs on the actual conception--mostly since I was actually planning the whole thing. So technically I knew "the moment of." Ahem. Let's keep it clean here, ladies. :)

If only you could fly. Now that would be a valuable super-power!

But I do love so many of the super cute Scott Girlie Outfits and will not say no to any of those!!

BTW, what is your due date according to the ultrasound? That always fascinates me that they can do that just by measuring everything...crazy technology. Now THERE would be some VG skillz put to good use--ultrasounds are kinda like a real-live VG, huh?

Unknown said...

That would definitely be a good use for a skilled VG player!! She said the due date might only change by a couple days, but I didn't get a forward or back.

She was breech so there were a couple things they couldn't see and I'll have to have another one anyway. Let's hope they'll tell me that I'll be a few days earlier!!

Still praying you into a December deliverly...

PLEASE, PLEASE DO!! :)

Congratulations! What a great picture, I am SO jealous. We've had like 5 ultrasounds and still haven't gotten a good picture of our little guy!

Thanks KJ! I think the pic turned out pretty well myself...it actually looks like a real baby!

And I'm sure you're complaining about having another ultrasound! :)

That is a great pic. all the ultrasound pics were shoddy with my kids so we didn't get any.

Oh the excitement! And the pink... I sure hope the hubby likes PINK!

Congrats on the baby girl...I'm actually praying for a second one myself. Of course I would love either one!
Not finding out is turning out to not be too bad, actually. The only problem is we can't start calling the baby by their name yet...we enjoyed that part with Hannah. Plus Hannah is having difficulty understanding that we're not having 2 babies since we constantly refer to the baby as "your baby brother or sister." She doesn't quite hear the "or."
Happy shopping with the pink! That part's always fun!
Love you,
Becky

Carbon, my hubby does like pink! And he's proud to wear it too! :)

Becky, I'm sure it will be fun to have the anticipation of not knowing!! Are you going to have Hannah help you name it?

Anonymous said...

Well, if we let Hannah help us name it...it would be "trashcan" if it was a boy or "Elmo" if it was a girl! :) Not quite what I had in mind. But her ideas change from day to do so we'll see if she comes up with something that we actually like and won't get the child killed in school! :)

Hmmm, trashcan? That's pretty funny....I suppose classmates might pick on that one just a little...you never know though! :)

Wow, congrats to you both. I love the pinkness that is girls.
