Did Someone Shout Giveaways?

I hear around the bloggy blogosphere that this week is a big ol' giveaway week.

This means I had better get in on the action. This also means I might be up late tonight. Grab your coffee, ladies, it's time for some fun!

I'm going to be giving away one of my proven hard-working grocery bags. You may not yet have joined the cloth grocery bag craze, but you should. Get rid of those yucky plastics and reduce, reuse, recycle! Plus, lots of stores give you $$ back for using your own bags.

My bags are patterned after a plastic bag but I have made them a little bigger to hold even more. They are also lined to be approximately 10 times stronger than plastic.

At the end of this week, one of you who have commented & linked will be chosen at random for one of these fabulous bags, and you will even be able to choose your own from a fabulous selection!

Happy Shopping & Blogging, friends!

*Note: if you don't win and are interested in a bag, email me and we'll set up a lil' ol' sale.

Anne! SUCH pretty bags! I have one that I use sometimes, but it's boring and black. I tryt o remember to use my old plastics, but I often forget. I'm sure I wouln't with such a purty made-by-Anne bag! (wink wink nudge nudge!)
Hahaha! Subtle, aren't I? ;)

Jessica said...

Ohhh...another bag...already sewed! Bonus!! I, like Jean, have one 1/2 started. Someday.... ;)

oooh!! i am commenting!!!

1. does jean come with it?
2. how much do you sell these for?

love ya! hugs to the baby.

Jenn said...

Yay! I've been wanting a cloth grocery bag, but I don't sew.

How many do you take with you when you go grocery shopping?

Mandie said...

Do you happen to be willing to share your pattern with those of us who enjoy sewing?

anne said...

Sarah, I wish the bag came with Jean along...that would be sweet, wouldn't it? She could be your personal shopper! :) Also, I'm selling them for $10. I could even personalize one for you in any fabric or style you'd like.

I have 10 bags that I take with me to the store. Sometimes I use three, sometimes 6, sometimes all of them! I also have a separate bag that I use to cart all of my veggies from the farmer's market or my farm share that I let get pretty dirty.

If you'd like the pattern I follow, email me at sewverysweet[at]gmail[dot]com. :)

I wanna be a bag lady! I reuse my Walmart bags, but they break. I donate 95% of them to my library. It would be nice to have something that lasts.

My sister made a couple of these for our dad... they rock! Much cuter diaper bag than a Meijer bag in a hurry. : )

Your grocery bag is so cute and the handles look very sturdy. I have a cloth grocery bag that I use for small shopping trips but it has terrible skinny handles and is the color of baby poop. I care about the environment, but I want to look cute doing it. Thanks for the giveaway.

Now I really, really like these. How cool to go shopping with one of these (or 2)! I'd much rather have this than the old plastic. You've come up with a cute and practical idea. I'd like to win this one for sure, but I'd like to see how I can get one even if I don't win. Or I'll settle for the pattern so that I can attempt to make myself one. Thanks.
