14 Hours

That's all it took to watch the last season of Alias. 14 hours. Not straight through of course. At least not entirely. We stopped at 2am and then got back up at nine the next day. And obviously there were a couple food and bathroom breaks.

I have to say, the last season did not disappoint me in the least. Nosirree. I'm sure it made a difference to watch it all back to back and without commercials. The finale was perfectly satisfying as well. There were a couple cheesy moments, but all in all an excellent ending to an excellent show.

It was so fun to snuggle down indoors yesterday and get so involved with something exciting like that, while the snow fell endlessly and freezingly outside. We have over a foot now I believe, and it's beautiful.

So there's my confession for this week. I truly watched 14 hours of tv in two days. And I'm not sorry.

well, if you say so, maybe if someone has it on dvd, I'll watch it. I stopped watching by the last season because I was a little miffed by it and also the scheduling here was all over the place.

I did a LOST marathon...it felt good.

I know, MM, you had warned me, and I went in with lower expectations, but was still very happy by the end. :) I will never watch a show like this any other way.

As Kass has proved also, LOST is one of those too. Maybe it's just JJ Abrams-type shows that are served best hot and in one sitting.

freezingly? that's an interesting word. Might have to watch tv for 14 hours to come up with new vocab words. Though that would take, oh, about 3 weeks to accomplish. Glad you weren't disappointed. :)

Now, I have to ask: are you ready to make the same commitment to Zelda? ARE YOU?!?! Because if you aren't, I am SO calling Nintendo Protective Services on you... I know I've threatened this before, but this time it's the real deal.

Also -- back to TV -- I think 'The Office' ought to be your next tele-endeavor. Seriously. It's the best thing since Arrested Development.

Yes, Heather Anne, Yes.

And Nate, the current problem is that we don't have enough Zelda currently left to warrant that sort of devotion. I guess you'll just have to buy us a new one for Christmas.
