A birth story will be coming, but at the moment I'm more occupied with resting and teaching the baby to eat!

She is SO sweet, beautiful, and her cry melts the heart (as does the quivering lip). She's already wrapped around every one of my fingers. :)

we are so excited for the two of you and love all three of you to pieces!

Soooo...you did go with the most beloved-favorite-forever-planned-name....Randall.
Ellen and Randy must be delighted!
Red hair?? Do I see red hair??
Oh, girl...that child will not lack for attention. Trust me, I know this.
All the best to you and Andy as you adjust to your new roles.
Oh, baby....!

Congratulations, Anne! Shelly emailed us the news yesterday morning and we made sure to pass it on at prayer meeting last night!
I will be praying for you as far as the eating is concerned...I'm sure she will get it down pat! I am finally at a point that I'm not worrying about my milk supply now and Alayna is doing great! Just keep in mind...the pain will pass and it WILL get easier!
The wipes recips is easy...use 1/2 roll of Bounty paper towels (these are the strongest and they need to be plain, no pictures/writing on them). Cut a whole paper towel roll in half horizontally and remove the cardboard insert. Begin pulling the paper towels out from the middle of the roll. Place in a 2 qt. container (one that the 1/2 roll will fit down inside of...and one with a lid). Then mix 1 1/2 cups. water with 2 Tbsp. baby wash and 1 Tbsp. baby oil. Pour half of the liquid mixture in the plastic tub before placing the paper towel roll in. Pour the remaining liquid over the paper towel roll. All to soak in and use!
If you have any questions, just email me.
Also, I'd love to schedule a visit to come up and see you before I head back to SC...but I don't even want to overwhelm you with that thought right now. If you and Andy get some time to talk as the weeks go by, let me know when would work best for you and if it would work better to come during the week or on the weekend. We can also stay in a hotel if it would make things easier for you. I am flexible as to when I will head home...but I'm looking to head back around Valentine's Day!
Happy baby-learning! She really is beautiful!
