Mintyfresh

I got the two of the best packages in the mail this week. One was for my birthday and the other was something I had purchased.

I ordered a new guitar strap for my acoustic guitar a while ago and have been anxiously waiting for it to arrive. Custom-made, the sweetest pink fabric and perfect; it arrived the other day from Lilybug Handcrafted Lovlies. If you want an original strap, she is the lady for you!

Plus, not only did I get exactly what I wanted, but in my package were all kinds of nifty little prizes too! A couple cute dino stamps, candies, hair clippies, glow bracelets, etc. What a great surprise! It totally made my day.

For my birthday, I got a package from across the country. My sweet N sent me the cutest little tiny clutch purse with a Hobby Lobby gift card. The girl knows my needs.

I love packages.

What's the best thing you've ever gotten in the mail?

I would have to say GAP clothes from my friend in VA. Though, those are the only packages I do get in the mail. :) And she told me today that I'm getting another one next week. Oooo...can't wait can't wait!!

Every so often my Dad's mom, Grandma Allen, sends me cookies in the mail. I got them all through college and I still get them down here in Little Rock even. A little taste of home! :) She usually makes an assortment of chocolate chip, chocolate marshmellow, sugar, and molasses. The chocolate chip are definitely the best, but I certainly am quick to eat them all! Although now I gotta share with a certain someone who has a bit of a sweet tooth herself ;)

So fun! Cookies in the mail are great! You should tell her that Katie can't bake... :) Keep those cookies coming for a looong time!

Yay Jean for a box soon! That's so sweet. I have a cousin that I used to always get a huge box every year. Sadly...I got the last one five years ago...

My best friend sends me her magazines in the mail on a weekly basis. It is so thoughtful of her since I love reading on the beach. She gets every magazine under the sun too. It is like a weekly present that can't be topped.

Hi! My name is Julia Green. I read that you went to Truett and UBC at the same time. I graduate from an undergrad university in PA next year, and i have been looking into going to Truett for my masters. Did you enjoy the school? And how far away is the school from UBC?

I'm not sure you've got the right girl. I've never heard of those schools? Sorry! :)

I would say anything from Tiffany.
We don't have one of those here so if I get anything from there it comes in the mail. (this has only happened like twice)

On a side note:
I miss Hobby Lobby.
I wish we had one here. That is one of the BEST stores!

Anne, oh Anne, where have you gone? I've missed reading your updates! I'm sure it's just because you're busy, but I know we'd all love to hear how you are when you get a few minutes! :) Just wanted you to know you're missed!

Ooo...Kells, I am totally in on the halfsies for the grant. Just think what rockers we will be!! Ha-hA!

And I mean, yeah...I went to all kinds of school...all kinds.

LOOve Hobby Lobby. Unfortunately they aren't open on Sunday's around here--and that's always when I need stuff for projects.

Hey Beck...I'll be back up and running tomorrow morning. I promise! Or afternoon. But tomorrow. For sure. :)
