New Hair, New Outfit

I know boys, doesn't that just sound like a post you are absolutely DYING to read!? Well, if I'm trying to post every day, you're just going to understand that girly stuff is going to come out. I promise to get in a couple good "boy" posts too, just so you don't feel left out.

There is nothing better than a day at the salon. The atmosphere, the smells, the piles of magazines--it all cries out to soothe.

A brighter color, a fresh cut and a quick blow dry somehow makes me feel like a new person. I get a fresh start on how I view myself, let alone how anyone else might view me.

Not to mention how much I love a cute new outfit. Most of the components aren't actually new, but it's a new combination nonetheless.

I'd love to stay and chat, but looking like I do, I had better get out and live it up. It's jeans and a t-shirt again tomorrow.

You'er entitled to write as many girly posts as you want; "real" guys will deal with it just fine.

Which is not to say our comments will be particularly helpful and/or clever. But still.

You look styling in your photo. Nothing like a day of pampering. You know it's inspiring and I am overdue. iIdid a home job on my roots. Because I am worth it. LOL

I can't even remember what the salon is like. It's been so long. I better put it on my to do list :) Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks RJ, for the manly support... :)

Jipps, you are so right. And I often do a home job and it still makes me feel great!

Thanks Jeany-bean!

V, I told my hubby that a guy told me I look hot...he asked if he was supposed to beat you up...and I said probably not since I don't know where you live. Whew. That was close!! But I do appreciate the compliment!

Kerrianne, I loove my new boots! Warm, snuggly & I got them at Payless! Never would have thought it.

You are very welcome, Carbon. I find it hard to put on the calendar myself. Fortunately, I have a girl in my small group who will do it at her salon for $10!! Cut & color! It's unbelievable! And I love it...

Nate, you always make me smile... :) Don't worry, I'll get a good "boy" post in soon!

That's a ton of hair, Teena! I'll bet it was liberating! I have done that in the past, but haven't grown it out that long in a while...
