Done!

I finished "Son of a Witch" this weekend. Soo good. "Wicked" was better, but I think that's because he had more background to draw from with the original Oz story. I also think Maguire set himself up for a third novel! Yippee!

The next book I have to read from him is "Lost." This one is based on Scrooge. Should be very interesting.

I highly recommend anything this guy has written. It's not always very family-friendly, but it's definitely excellent reading and, might I even say, literary genius.

Glad you liked "Son of a Witch!" And I too am hoping for a third novel. That would be awesome! If you get to "Lost" let me know how it is. I think I am going to try to get to "Mirror, Mirror: Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister." That looks pretty sweet too. So do you think there ever will (should?) be a movie version of "Wicked?"

That does seem to be the thing lately, huh? Movie versions of broadway?

Mirror & Confessions were both definitely good...two separate books though...Cinderella & Snow White... :)

Hey Anne

You need a picture of the Buckster? It looks like you have one already though, don't you (on your previous post). In any event, I don't think I have any - so, I guess I can't help ya out on that one. But anyways, glad you found the site!

I don't know. Andy knows an awful lot about books. Actually a lot of the guys we hang out with are big readers. Though not as much fiction as myself...but still. Just finished "Survivor" by Chuck Palahniak. Crazy. But really good!

Hi! Came over from CC's site. I saw your comment about Wicked and I am a big fan of that book. I loved it. Son of a Witch was good, but not as good as Wicked. I've also read "Lost", "Mirror Mirror" and "Confessions..." but didn't enjoy them nearly as well. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the musical. I've heard they are going to take it "on the road." I hope so. I'll visit again soon.
