Nothing a Little Shopping Won't Fix

Yes, the dentist was horrible. He was kind enough to dab my leaky eyes and to work as quickly as possible so as to not cause any more jaw pain. But it was still painful.

So I went shoe shopping. And yes, I felt better.

I got these adorable sandals for summer. It's right around the corner, you know.

I also got a great pair of brown lace up shoes. Rationalized as a purchase for Italy. I need good walking shoes, right? That's what I thought.

I have also decided I am thoroughly a fan of Steve Madden. We should be friends. Lucky for me, I get all his shoes on clearance. I am also a fan of DSW. No black and white bag thrills my heart more.

I have those same shoes in tan. And they're getting old. I either need to find a good shoe repair man or a new pair - because they're my favorites.

And don't you love DSW?? Please tell me you're in their rewards program. And. Do you want to know a secret? I've gotten 4 reward $25 cards in the past 3 years. Do you know how much that means I've spent on shoes? Only at DSW, and let me tell you, I buy shoes at a lot of places...

i tried to find shoes there for my wedding and i was disappointed because their 'formal' shoes didn't come small enough for me. i only wear a 6.5. they said the smallest they had was a 7. i haven't been in there since.

Marcia---that is a freaking ton of shoes. Holy cow. I've only gotten one. But yes, I am definitely in the program. Whenever I go with girlfriends, I have them use my card if they don't have one...hee hee.
And I totally would get those in every color...
Kristen--that is very disappointing...at my DSW they have a whole clearance section and several rows of 6.5 and smaller. Quite often I find that they don't have my 7 but they have 6 or 6.5. Maybe you just need to give them a second try... :)

the other reason is that after i got married i moved to a town that dosen't have a dsw. the last few pairs of shoes i have bought are from kohl's. i'll remember that for next time i see one though!

Well that makes sense. I remember how excited I was when I first heard our town was getting a DSW...I was one of the few at the front door as soon as the place opened...eyes glazed over, tongue hanging out...
