Breakfast

I find that I like to eat breakfast in the mornings. I have more energy and feel healthier. Often though, I end up only having coffee for breakfast. Sad & pathetic, I know.

I also find that one of my absolute favorites is the SlimFast Cappuccino. I am usually embarrassed to buy it at the store because I don't really need to lose weight. But it's soooo good! It gives me energy and it is like a Frappuccino! Not to mention the fact that I can drink it while driving. Eggos are so hard to eat while making turns.

**I have just updated this poll. Since there was a revolt against the lack of eggs, pancakes and meat products, I have added said options in. I cannot put your votes back in. So you will have to vote again. I hope you are all happy now. Blame Andy. It's all his fault.

someone give a shout-out to the eggs and bacon! can a girl get a little salt in the morning?! :) Mostly, it's coffee and a protein shake...but sometimes I get crazy (or David feels generous) and make an egg...or turkey bacon...yummy...or toast with salt...who's hungry?!

You are totally right, Heather! I am shocked at myself. Andy will be also as those are some of his favorite foods...he will eat breakfast any meal of the day!

I guess that goes to the 'other' spot, huh?

i was just about to leave a reply crying blasphemy. good call heather. eggs and bacon is a must...and where's the french toast!

and really, who eats fruit or yogurt for breakfast...only time i've ever seen people choose that option is at a hotel where that's all you get for your "continental breakfast"...what a scam

Ummmmmmm.... I usually have nothing. And I don't regret it - it doesn't make me tired. But. Even in middle school, I didn't have breakfast before school. I would say that I didn't have breakfast in elementary school, but I don't remember specifically. But I think the rule in my house growing up was always "if you want breakfast, make it yourself!" And I never cared enough.

Though, these days, I do have breakfast at around 9:30, after I get to work. Because it's more fun to walk down to the cafe at work then it is to work... But it's usually just a biscuit.

and... why is there no "nothing" option?

If I eat eggs and bacon, it is usually accompanied by hash browns...and only if I am eating "breakfast for dinner". My actual breakfast is cereal with fresh fruit, tea, orange juice, and vitamins.

So I missed bagels...I think that's because I am sick to death of bagels. We have had them every single Sunday morning for a couple years now. I don't think I could even eat them any other day of the week!
About the comments, Cory, I did have some weird spam a while back before I had the word verification. And now, I don't. I suppose I could take it off for a while and see how it went.
Marcia-I hadn't even thought of the 'nothing' option. I just assume most people who don't eat breakfast have coffee at least. And I totally agree about walking down to the cafe. I try to do that a few times a day. If nothing else, at least to fill up my water.

Ah yes...silly me.

(Psst...what time do you eat breakfast?)

And spaghetti is available as a selection under "other."

What about spaghetti? you forgot to put spaghetti on your list. With a nice white wine....

So I voted for pancakes, but I like eating eggs and potatoes with them too. With ketchup. And syrup. And OJ. And sausage links.
