Travel

Kassi had this interesting information on her blog and I thought I'd throw it on mine too. Yep, I need to travel more. Especially the West, apparently.

This is a map of states I have visited. It seems like I've been to others, but can't think for sure. Any of you who know me, have I missed any?

I wish I could do countries. But I've only visited Israel, Jordan, Egypt & Canada, so that wouldn't be overly exciting of a map.

Which ones can you add to mine that you've visited that I haven't?

ok- you missed an obvious one. Virginia! Senior class trip?? :) Where mine differs from yours- I haven't been to Conn, HI, or Cali- but I've been to the rest plus I can add Miss, ALA, S and N Carolina, TX, Ark, Missouri, Iowa, N and S Dakota, Kan, Neb, Okla, Colo, Wyo, Mont- I'll have to check your map again to see if I missed any though..

oops- did miss some- also Kntky, Tenn, W Va, Md, and Del -
I tried to post my map in here- but it wouldn't let me. I'll put it on www.myspace.com/sdallen79 if you want to take a look.

Oh- and you've been to Maryland- again- senior class trip. Remember going to the Orioles game and to the aquarium there in the harbor?

I did wonder about those. I could not for my life remember where we went on our class trip. Gosh. Do we have any pictures from that trip? I remember there was the controversial one of you and I. Hee hee. Oh man. The days of high school jealousy.

Ok. So I'll have to update with Virginia & Maryland. Go me!

Controversial one, eh? Huh- I wonder who has that one?? I think I do remember something about that though and I definitely remember Amanda being pretty mad at me over nothing ;) Too bad she was the one cheating on me instead. Oh do I miss high school! yeah...

Virginia!! It's the best state ever! And, if you don't remember visiting there, then you should definitely go back! :)

you've probably already seen this but if not here's mine: http://cory.vanderjagt.ws/lifemap/

and after looking at your map i would suggest taking trips to the grand canyon and the pacific northwest (seattle, vancouver, or portland)

That is sweet, Cory!! And I do have a girlfriend I HAVE to go visit in Seattle. Andy & I do need to do a Western tour...

I have heard many good things, Heather...I'm sure I do want to go back!

I see that you don't have South Carolina on there yet. Must add that one sometime soon!! :)
The only states that I have left to visit are HI, AK, NDakota, ME, OR and ID.
We're potty training today so not much time to comment! But I'll try again later! Brandon's got a flight until 2 tomorrow morning so I'm sure I'll be up late tonight, but he's home helping me now.

Virginia is for lovers. Just in case you were wondering.

I've been to Neb, WY, CO, NC, KY and TN. There's probably more that I forgot.

I'm wounded Anne. You totally forgot TN and KY. And to think our 16 hour trip to GA went forgotten. Twice.

And if you're counting countries, I've been to Europe, Ireland (and N. Ireland), Italy, Scotland and Canada.

anne said...

Right. Like I would forget THAT drive twice. But, I'm not counting drives...If I were, I'd have pushed through the whole of the south on my way to Florida.

We didn't stay in TN or KY did we? Did I forget, really? I wouldn't necessarily put it past me...

Jean said...

No, but we ate there. Does that count? :)

anne said...

Good point you have there. Eating might just count. I might have to throw in a Carolina or two if that's the case. I am pondering.

Eh. I still need to travel more.

I'm smelling road trip just for the heck of it. ;) I could use one right about now.

No kidding. Course we already have four girls lined up for an Ikea trip. We should pick one in Montana...do they have Ikea in Montana?

Jean said...

who do you have lined up so far?
If there's not one in MT, we could find something else there. always the mountains :)

Come to Vancouver! Come to Vancovuer! It's the bestest city ever (plus we could meet up for coffe or a fun day of touring!) *grins and nods head really fast*

Hee hee!

I've been to Washington, Oregon, California, and Iowa (Minnesota and Illinois, too, if you count airports and highway on the way TO Iowa. I DID eat in Minnesota!)

As far as Canadian provinces, I'm from BC, and I've been to Alberta, Saskatchewan, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswuick, and Nova Scotia. 7/13. Yup, I need to travel more, too!

Hills, you are too funny! :) I've only ever been through Ontario. But I have heard beautiful things about Vancouver. If I went to Seattle, I could pop up and say hi! :)

Jean, we've got you, me, Megan & Heather ready to go at a moment's notice! Maybe a weekend in May?
